NIST Atomic Time Synchronization
Synchronize the system's internal computer clock to usually within +/-50 millisecs using the U.S. Government's NIST Daytime Protocol, RFC-867, time servers.
- Each time server in the Digital Clock Designer list of NIST time servers is chosen carefully and monitored regularly to ensure all servers maintain very high accuracies, fast response and 100% compatibility.
- Any server found to regularly perform poorly is removed from the list.
- This list is automatically updated with each update of Digital Clock Designer.
- To maintain this level of performance, the server list is not user-configurable.
